Welcome back to Term 2. I hope everyone had safe and happy holidays. This term is an exciting one. Our topic focus is on Animals and the Land. We are off to Orana Park on Thursday which the children are all very excited about. We will spend the morning split into groups learning about the different animals and areas within the park then after lunch we will be free to explore. In Week 5 we have 2 trips planned with the Museum and Southern Encounter, with another lot of fantastic programs.
Please ensure that your child is doing reading and spelling nightly. Thank you for your support last term with the spelling. It worked really well and the children were really excited to show me on Friday how well they had done with their words. If we could continue this this Term it would be greatly appreciated.
