Wasn't it wonderful to see the sun today after the grey, wet weather we've had for the last couple of weeks. It's hard to believe we are almost halfway through the term and there is lots happening in the next couple of weeks.
This Friday we farewell Nicole Allchurch who has been working in Room 4 for the last 5 weeks. We have all enjoyed Nicole's enthusiasm and willingness to try all sorts of activities with the class. We wish her well, as she completes the last few months of her training and begins the search for a teaching position.
There is a lot of wonderful new work on display in Room 4. Do feel free to pop in and admire your child's efforts.
On Friday night we have the Junior School Disco from 5:30 to 7:00. The theme is "Fluoro" - so the children can wear their brightest clothes and show off their dance moves. Please see this week's notice for details
Next week is Book Week. The Book Fair will be set up in the library as usual. Please feel free to pop down and view the books if you wish. Each class will visit the Fair to have a look and the children will have an opportunity to make their own "Wish List"
Our Bedtime Stories Evening is now on Wednesday night, from 6:15 until 7:00, in the library. Come dressed in your pj's and enjoy listening to some exciting stories from the Book Fair. This is also an opportunity to purchase books if you wish.
Book Week will finish off with a Book Character Parade on Friday! We look forward to seeing the costumes. The parade will begin at around 2:30pm!
Enjoy the sun and the rest of the week.
